In the fall of 2020, Worcester Free Fridge (WFF) was founded. As advocates of mutual aid and food access, this project aims to fill the gaps of a food distribution system that has proven to be ineffective, especially in the face of a pandemic. This project acknowledges its status as a bandaid, not a systemic fix. WFF is collaborative work, in partnership with El Salon, Save the Bridge, Worcester Youth Co-op, Sidenote Programs, and Bogastow Farm Project. WFF commits to advocating for increased access to fresh food and expanding our work to best support the Worcester community.
