SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY

Free Fridge Movement

Community fridges have been popping up all over the country as a form of mutual aid and community care. Community fridges (or free fridges) are outdoor fridges that community members have access to 24/7 and are restocked and cleaned regularly by volunteers. Any person in need of food can access the fridge and take food at no cost, no questions asked. There is an excess of food in this city that goes to waste. Building free food structures open new channels of free food distribution to support individuals who struggle with food insecurity to access fresh, healthy nutrition.

We are looking to build relationships with local grocery stores, restaurants and farmers looking to free food to Worcester communities. We also accept monetary donations.

We are always looking for support from community members interested in volunteering, artists and carpenters.

We strive to make food accessible to everyone—especially marginalized and low-income communities in Worcester, Massachusetts.
